Professor Daiming Fan is the member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, International member of the USA and French National Academy of Medicine, President of World Association for Integrative Oncology（WAIO）, the President of Asian Oncology Society（AOS）, President of China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), President of the Asia Pacific Digestive Week Federation, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union for International Cancer Control (2018-2022), Past Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Past President of Asia Pacific Association of Gastroenterology. Prof. Fan specialized in both clinical and basic research into digestive diseases, especially gastrointestinal cancers. He has obtained numerous prestigious awards for his outstanding achievements, including several National Science and Technology Progress Awards. He was the first awardee of the Prize “French National Academy of Medicine-Servier”, and received the 2019 Masters of the WGO Award. As editor-in-chief he has authored 158 gastroenterology and oncology books, published over 700 peer review articles on international journals and serves as editor for 15 international medical journals.
