Dr. Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh received her Bachelor Degree as a medical doctor and PhD degree in medicine at the Peoples Friendship University of Russia and Masters Degree at Public Health/Health Management at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
She is a founder and CEO of the National Cancer Council of Mongolia. She had been worked as a Director of the Medicine and Medical Devices Regulatory Agency, Advisor to Health Minister, Officer at the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health, World Health Organization and in Mongolia.
She had been a principal investigator for numerous studies on cervical cancer, HPV vaccine, tobacco control and childhood cancer and advocate for improvement of cancer control. Her contribution was vital to improve childhood cancer situation, reintroduce HPV vaccination and strengthen access to essential cancer medicines in Mongolia.
