Dr. LEE is currently the

 Deputy Hospital Chief Executive, and Chief of Service (Clinical Oncology Center), University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital;

• Director, Shenzhen Hospital Accreditation Research Center;

• Vice-President, Shenzhen–Hong Kong Medical Specialist Training Center;

• Coordinator of the UICC TNM Global Advisory Group;

• Chairman, Hong Kong Nasopharyngeal Cancer Study Group;

• Vice-Chairman, Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society.


Dr. LEE’s Previous Key Appointments include:

       Professor and Head of the Department of Clinical Oncology, University of Hong Kong;  

      • Board of Director, Union for International Cancer Control (UICC);

      • Vice president, Hong Kong College of Radiologists.


Her Research Field focused on Nasopharyngeal Cancer. She has significant contributions to all major aspects in the management  of this very special cancer. In particular, she has taken up the leading role in the development of TNM staging since 1997 and is instrumental in unifying different systems to formulate the current global language.

She has received many International Honors: key awards include

      • Honorary Fellow by the American College of Radiology;

      • Honorary Membership by the Radiological Society of North America;

      • Honorary Membership by the European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology.
